I’m very pumped to announce that I’ve joined the staff of Rookie Mag!
Here is my first illo for them. It’s for a piece that explains to non-campers why Summer Camp is the best place on earth. (I never actually when to a camp, so I just watched “A Wet Hot American Summer”)
“It’s Not the End of the World”
Another painting from the series “A Hot Summer”, which is on show and available at at Buy Some Damn Art! (This one is sold.)
“Warm Water”
A Hot Summer on BSDA.
Shelter. One of my pieces for Reading Paintings.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out to our show! There were more people than we expected and we even made a sale. For a first attempt at planning a show, it was a great success. I’m incredibly grateful to be friends with such hardworking and talented people. The next show is in the works! ✿
Part of an invite for dinner with friends this Sunday.
I tried painting a background and some new gouache.
“I hate selfies”
My contribution to Oh Comely Magazine’s feature on artists and their pet peeves. It’s in issue fifteen, which is out this April! Many thanks to the Illustration Editor, Laura Callaghan.

The irony of this is that I had to take a bunch of photos of myself taking photos of myself.

I gave this tiny painting to one of my old teachers who would always bake blondies for our class. So tasty!
I’m having a “Korean Food / Art Exchange” later tonight. This is a little drawing I made for the invite. Boobs are the best symbolic art piece.
